Our Vision

The Catalyst Campus vision is to leverage an economic development ‘cluster’ strategy that helps advance and strengthen the competitive advantage of our nation’s aerospace and defense industry, promote public-private partnerships, and help integrate small businesses into the greater ecosystem supporting the objectives of the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.

In support of the National Security Innovation Base, Catalyst Campus helps the Department of Defense embrace new and emerging technologies by supporting an ecosystem of research and development infrastructure, and facilitating opportunities for engagement among government, small business, research institutions and academia.

Catalyst Campus was established to:

  • Enhance public-private partnerships between private industry, academia and government
  • Eliminate barriers to entry and engagement for small businesses, entrepreneurs and startups in the aerospace and defense ecosystem
  • Advance innovative and disruptive technologies by providing a platform to incubate, accelerate and decrease ‘time to market’ for technologies that support our customer’s missions
  • Support rapid innovation and small business development through targeted programming, workforce training, and utilization of the shared infrastructure.
